Bio: GM Kateryna Lahno is a blitz world champion and also a women's champion at Fisher Random chess (Chess 960). She claimed the European Individual Women's Championship in both 2008 and 2005, and her impressive calculating ability and resilience make her both a tough opponent and a valuable asset to the women's team for this one-of-a-kind event.
Kateryna became the youngest Woman Grandmaster (WGM) in chess history at the age of 12 years, four months and two days, and earned the title of grandmaster in 2007.
