Welcome to another Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis podcast. The club's executive director, Tony Rich, got the once-in-a-lifetime chance to travel with the U.S. team on its way to the World Team Championhsip, which took place in Bursa, Turkey, January 5 - 14. Today, Tony speaks with John Donaldson, International Master and captain of the U.S. team. This interview was recorded during round three of the World Team Championship. The U.S would eventually go on to secure silver medals thanks to excellent teamwork and gold-medal winning, top board performances from Hikaru Nakamura and Alexander Onischuk.
