St. Louis, MO 63108
November 5, 2008, Wednesday
6:00 PM

Ever wanted to play in a standard time control tournament but couldn't dedicate a whole day? No worries! Now you can play one round a week! November Knights is a month-long tournament with one round per week. The winner of each "Knights" tournament automatically qualifies for the Club Championship, an invitational event. See March 4th for more details on the Club Championship.

5SS G/90 rated. Reg. Wednesday, November 5, 6:00 - 6:45pm. Rounds 7pm 11/5/, 11/12, 11/19, 11/24. Check in with TD by 6:45 to be paired each week/round. No advanced entries. EF: $10. Prize fund is 90% payout, with 1st place getting 1/3 of the total prize fund and first A, B, C, D, E and U1000/unrated each take 1/9 of the prize fund. For example, assuming 40 people register, 1st overall would be $120 and each class prize would be $40.

Annual club membership required to participate and can be purchased on site from $30. USCF and MCA membership required and available on site.

Tie Break Policy: Wherever possible prizes will be divided among the winners. However, since a qualifier spot is indivisible, a tie break system has been put into place: A 2-game match at G/90 with the winner qualifying for the Club Championship. If an even score results, then a 2-game match at G/20, and finally a 2-game match at G/5 will determine the final outcome.
