2011 Junior Closed Championship
The U.S. Junior Closed Championship is the most prestigious tournament in the country for the nation's top emerging talent. Players under the age of 21 will compete at the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis June 16-26 for the title of U.S. Junior Champion and an automatic bid to both the World Junior Championship and the 2012 U.S. Championship.
Live commentary and analysis throughout the tournament will be provided by GM Ben Finegold and FM Aviv Friedman, and can be accessed by visiting www.livestream.com/uschess.
The 2011 U.S. Junior Championship will feature a prize fund of more than $10,000.
